WHAT'S ON OFFER : Attractive salary + BenefitsAccess to Capral's amazing employee benefitsWork with an established team that is friendly and supportive!Training and career progression provided.Primary Responsibilities : Liaise and develop relationships with Capral's suppliers to the best advantage of CapralDevelop and implement vendor service level agreements and manage vendor performancePrice negotiation with domestic and international vendorsDevelop and report on KPI's for Procurement operationsIncrease the proficiency of the purchasing to payments function, through areas such as automatic purchase orders, framework agreements, reverse billing and vendor managed inventoryWork closely with the business to determine ongoing supply requirements and 'at risk' vendorsAssist in the review of Contracts, Vendors and tender processesCo-ordination of vendor rationalisation, maintenance and management of supply agreementsOrdering and management of Rolled products, stainless mesh and other importsImprovement of the procurement of hardware through standardisation of material master data, improved packaging configurations and branding as well as optimum lot sizesAssist in the creation and maintenance of Purchasing Information Records / AgreementsAdministration of freight forwarding including customs clearance, transport and shippingLiaise with Product Development in the specification and prototyping phase of newly introduced products and vendor selectionProcess improvement and identifying opportunities to reduce costs and implementing solutionsLead procurement projects and work with other areas of the business to develop solutions to improve effectiveness of the Procurement groupManagement, correction and processing of blocked invoicesTo be considered applicants SHOULD have : Relevant qualifications in Procurement or considerable experience in a similar roleProven problem solving, research and diagnostic skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsProven negotiation skillsDemonstrated ability to multitask and work to deadlinesAbility to identify opportunities for improvementKnowledge and ability to operate SAP and Microsoft Office packagesApplicants must also be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical inclusive of drug and alcohol test.
