Job Description
As our Practice Director for Apps Engineering, you'll drive the transformation within the NCS Australia business.
You'll lead talented teams of consultants and engineers across web, software, and mobile applications, shaping our go-to-market strategy and ensuring we deliver quality, cutting-edge solutions that address our clients' evolving needs.
Your role will involve growing the applications engineering capability, setting clear goals, managing team performance, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
You'll also be responsible for identifying emerging technology trends, collaborating with the market team to align our offerings with client needs, and developing innovative solutions.

Beyond technical expertise, you'll excel in client relationship management, building strong partnerships and delivering exceptional client experiences.
You'll contribute to pre-sales activities, develop compelling sales collateral, and lead the development of client solutions that drive revenue growth.
By gathering client insights and incorporating them into our plans, you'll ensure our offerings remain relevant and valuable.

Finally, we'll want you to be market and client-facing, actively participating in industry events, contributing to thought leadership initiatives, and developing case studies to showcase our expertise and enhance our brand reputation.

Qualifications
Previous experience leading an Applications Engineering Practice for a Technology Consultancy, Systems Integrator or Professional Services company Strong technical skills and deep understanding of software development and engineering principles Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Proven track record in driving innovation and process improvements within the applications engineering domain.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and experience in managing project timelines, resources, and budgets.
Knowledge of security, data solutions, cloud computing and DevOps principles is highly desirable.
Familiarity with relevant programming languages and frameworks Ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
