About Us Blooms The Chemist Hobart is located in the Hobart CBD and neighbours Your Hobart Doctor and the urgent care clinic. As part of the GP Collective, we collaborate with doctors and allied health professionals from Your Hobart Doctor, the urgent care clinic and the Bathurst Street Skin Cancer Clinic. Our mission is to integrate pharmacy, GP, and allied health to ensure patients receive high-quality healthcare when they need it.
About The Role As a pharmacist, you will be involved in: The safe and efficacious use of medicines when dispensing and counselling patients. Engaging directly with patients to supply expert health advice that enables them to make informed decisions about their health. The provision of 8CPA services (e.g., DAAs, staged supply, vaccination, opioid substitution therapy, meds checks) and private services (e.g., sleep apnoea clinic, UTI pharmacist-prescribing). Leading and fostering the growth of our pharmacy team as you guide, supervise, and train them in community pharmacy services. Community engagement initiatives as we grow our relationship with the wider community. As a pharmacist manager, you will also be involved in: Store management including QCPP accreditation, store workflow, recruitment and staff training, roster management, and reporting to proprietors while meeting KPIs. Current Police Check or willingness to obtain. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with an eye for detail. An enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the pharmacy. Experience with 8CPA professional services, DAAs and QCPP regulations (or willingness to learn skills in this area). Vaccination qualification (or willingness to obtain). Previous experience successfully leading a community pharmacy team (for management position). All levels of experience are encouraged to apply!
