Working in a culture of ownership, you will drive activity to identify and gain new business opportunities using innovative techniques to maintain a strong sales pipeline. Responsibilities include:
Generating leads Cold calling Attending sales calls to new clients Providing prompt and efficient responses to new client requests Engaging in networking and profile building You will have the support of an experienced customer service and operations team, but you also have the flexibility to be involved with compiling your own quotes if you desire. While the branch is based on the Gold Coast, you will have the opportunity to target business anywhere in QLD and structure your week as you see fit, with weekly CRM reporting and sales meetings to discuss pipeline and activity.
To succeed in this role, you should be professionally presented with strong communication and negotiation skills, the ability to network and foster relationships, and the capability to quickly become familiar with the company's service offerings to translate client requirements into the best solutions. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, possess the drive and passion for achieving results, and have a proven track record of sales across the freight forwarding sector.
