Our client, ECS Technolab, is seeking a Software Engineer - Cloud Solutions to join their team full-time. Located in Adelaide, South Australia and Geelong, Victoria, ECS Technolab offers a structured series of tests to evaluate functional, environmental aspects, and component reliability before final approval by certification authorities.
The Software Engineer - Cloud Solutions is a highly technical role requiring expertise in a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. The position involves supporting the team to ensure alignment with architecture standards and patterns while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions that align with strategic goals.
The annual salary is $90,000-$110,000 plus superannuation.
Responsibilities include: Engaging with business and technical stakeholders in designing and developing solutions and overseeing the governance of technology solutions. Ensure solutions are aligned to enterprise blueprints and roadmaps / future state of apps. Architecting and implementing Active-Passive and Active-Active solutions for DR scenarios for PaaS applications. Expertise in designing and developing SaaS products with Cloud Native Solutions such as Azure App Services, Azure Web Apps, Azure API App, Function App, Logic App, API Management and Event Hubs. Hands-on experience in designing and implementing containerized applications using Microservices design and Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Hands-on experience in developing and deploying Web APIs to Azure API Management and JWT token authentication. Designing and Deploying Azure Network resources such as vNet, Subnet, Network Security Groups, VPN (Site2Site, Point2Site and Express route), Azure Load balancer, Application Gateway, Azure Traffic Manager and Azure Front Door. Good at tightening Azure security using Azure Security Centre, Azure Policy, Azure Defender, and Azure Information Protection. Configuring Custom Domains, Public DNS and certificates to Azure Web Apps, API Apps and Application Gateway with WAF for load balancing and security. Exposure to SQL databases such as high availability using SQL Azure Availability Groups, Geo-Replication and SQL Always on availability groups. Expertise in designing Azure Backup Policies and Disaster Recovery solutions. Experience in .Net core developing using C#, and web page designing using Asp.net, HTML, CSS, jQuery and Angular JS. Good experience in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services). Good at architecting and designing CI / CD pipelines for Front End Applications, APIs and Databases. Designing and Deploying Cloud Services using AWS is an added advantage. Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree with five to eight (5-8) years of professional experience in the software industry. Should have a background in IT, Computer Science, or Software Engineering is preferred. Summary of role requirements: Flexible hours available.
