We are now seeking an Assistant Coordinator to join our before and after-school care service at the picturesque St. Mary St. Joseph Catholic Primary School in Maroubra.

The Role As an Assistant Coordinator, your passion for childcare will shine through in your compassionate, friendly approach to interacting with children. You will be responsible for:
Acting as the responsible person for the service. Ensuring a safe and inclusive OSHC environment for both staff and children. Managing children's attendance and casual bookings to ensure safety and proper supervision. Supervising other educators, ensuring they understand and perform their duties effectively. Supporting the design and implementation of engaging educational programs, including observations and reflection journals. Creating opportunities to share children's participation and engagement with families. Building and maintaining strong relationships with families and the school community. This is a permanent, part-time position offering 33 hours per week.
About You To succeed in this role, you will need to: Hold a qualification in Child Education and Care (or be working towards one). Have prior experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC). Hold a Certificate in Child Protection training. Have current First Aid certification. Hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. All applicants must have current and valid working rights in Australia.
