About the role : As an OpenShift Systems Administrator, your team will maintain the critical server infrastructure that allows us to advance the way the world pays, banks, and invests.
You'll be responsible for deploying new technologies as well as ensuring system performance.
What you will be doing : Install, configure, and maintain OpenShift Platform, Linux servers, and related applications.Propose and implement system enhancements.Monitor system usage and performance and troubleshoot issues.Diagnose and resolve hardware and software upgrades or repairs, and network issues on Linux systems.What you will need : Proficiency in Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian).Experience with OpenShift platform is an absolute must-have.Experience in server virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or the equivalent experience.Added bonus if you have : Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar.Knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.Understanding of database management.What we offer you : At FIS, you can learn, grow, and make an impact in your career.
