What we are looking for: We have two opportunities for experienced supervisors to join our high-performing Open Space & Environment team - Supervisor Parks and Open Spaces and Supervisor High Profile Areas.
The roles will involve: Coordinating and allocating resources including people and plant. Developing works programs and methods that are both appropriate and budget-focused. Supervising a team and performing related human resource duties. Providing technical knowledge to complex situations. Collaborating with relevant stakeholders including heritage bodies and government departments. Promoting a safety-first culture. What you should have to apply: You'll have proven leadership and will enjoy coaching and mentoring your teams to get the best out of them. With experience in a relevant field, you'll come armed with technical knowledge that will grow the capability of the wider team.
You'll have: Strong communication skills with the ability to relate to a range of people with varying levels of knowledge. Experience organising work schedules and rosters. A positive, practical approach to work. An AQF level 4 qualification is an advantage but not necessary. Current QLD Drivers Licence. Construction White Card.
