Nurse Level 8 - Remuneration Package Range $205,386 - $212,212 Tennant Creek Hospital – Barkly region Location: Tennant Creek
Position: One vacancy is available, either ongoing or fixed for 3 years.
This position is responsible and accountable for ensuring the implementation of NT Nursing and Midwifery strategy, clinical governance inclusive of professional nursing and midwifery standards of care and conduct for the Barkly Region.
Collectively and collaboratively work with members of the Barkly Region Executive to meet legislative and regulatory requirements along with person-centred care. Willingness to travel intra-territory to remote communities by road or light aircraft, including overnight stays, is essential. Experience driving a manual vehicle with eligibility to obtain an NT manual driver's licence is also required.
Due to the isolation of Tennant Creek and the differences in living expenses (accommodation, food, and fuel), various incentives are provided including:
Free fully furnished accommodation FOILS – Fares Out of Isolated Locations (2x/year), approx. value of $1400 each . Perishable freight allowance. Electricity subsidy. Annual remote incentive allowance. Relocation assistance is available with reimbursement of one-way travel to Tennant Creek from any major port within Australia.
