With over 100 years' combined experience in horticultural science, engineering, marketing, business management, finance and accounting, our team is focused on sustaining this business through the opportunities and challenges of the next fifty years. Due to the expansion and growth they have achieved, they are looking for an experienced person to manage their human resources.
The role itself? Recruitment: Ensuring the business has the adequate and appropriately skilled resources in the various ecosystems of the business; packing shed, farms and processing plant. Industrial Relations: Ensuring that the companies employees are upholding the highest of professional standards, adhering to all relevant workplace law. Training: Planning, facilitating and reflecting on all company provided employee training and learning experiences; managing external training providers and overseeing internal training to ensure quality and continuity. Compliance: Ensuring that staff have completed their inductions, provided qualification information and are aware of their responsibilities to provide updates to the company. Award Interpretation: Ensuring that the company is compliant and adhering to the relevant award. HR Generalist Duties: Performing HR duties with competence, diligence and professionalism. What kind of person will fit the role? The perfect person for this role will have tertiary qualifications in human resources or business management. It would be preferential that you have had previous experience in an agribusiness. It is extremely important that you have an ability to communicate, collaborate and lead.
