Great opportunity for an experienced Medicare Coordinator to join our team in Darwin. If you have a strong understanding of current Medicare claiming and billing processes, along with extensive knowledge of the Medicare HPOS and PRODA systems, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Medicare claims and billing procedures accurately. Utilize and maintain proficiency in HPOS and PRODA systems. Provide expert guidance on Medicare-related inquiries. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient service delivery. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with staff, patients, and stakeholders. Key Requirements:
Proven experience in Medicare claiming, billing processes, and system usage. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Travel to the site once a month is an essential and non-negotiable part of this role. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and database systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Experience and understanding of working within Aboriginal communities and the challenges that they face in remote settings. Satisfactory Criminal History Check. Current NT Working with Children Clearance OCHRE card. What's on Offer:
