Job Description We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Orange NSW.
In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day, supported by a strong team of healthcare professionals and the resources of a global corporate infrastructure. You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological, supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
Your duties will include: Case management with manageable caseloads and support from Rehabilitation Assistants; Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes; Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs; Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals; Working across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs; Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes; Completing assessments using your clinical skills, including initial, workplace and vocational assessments. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy; Registration with either AHPRA or ESSA plus SIRA Accreditation; Previous experience in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry is highly regarded; Excellent communication skills; Compassion and kindness; Well-developed time management skills; A current NSW Driver's License and access to a car with comprehensive insurance.
