About the role
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor at our Depots, this role is primarily servicing one of our key clients and is responsible for the delivery of steel materials, as well as loading and unloading products.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Transport products and materials.
Provide excellence in customer service and professionalism, working with the client to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Inspect vehicles daily and report all mechanical faults and safety issues.
Load and unload products onto and off vehicles.
Maintain cleanliness of vehicles to a high standard.
Operate in line with road safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
About you
We are seeking an experienced MC truck driver.
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
Skills and experience
Demonstrated experience as a truck driver.
Experience in the construction industry is favourable.
Ability to work autonomously, be flexible, possess excellent communication skills, problem solve, and show initiative.
Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations.
Qualifications
MC truck driving licence.
Forklift Driving license.
White Card.
