REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : Passion for working with young learners.Demonstrated success as a collaborator and team player.Proficiency in math and reading.DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES : Collaborate with an enthusiastic, passionate, and caring MTSS academic team.Establish a safe and positive learning environment while working with students from grades Kindergarten – First Grade in a small group setting.Deliver intended reading and math intervention curriculum with fidelity.Be an active participant in professional development activities and open to learning and trying new things.Assist in conducting assessments and progress monitoring of student instructional levels.Assist with lesson planning, organization, and record keeping.Maintain student records.Work in collaboration with classroom teachers, instructional coordinator, and other instructional aides.Supervise students when necessary.Maintain confidentiality of students and staff.Conduct self in a positive, professional manner at all times.Must be flexible and willing to complete other duties as assigned by principal or instructional coordinator.HOURS / LENGTH OF CONTRACT : Monday – Friday following the normal school year calendar.
