The Opportunity: We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Manager to join our Markets & Growth (M&G) team on a permanent basis. This role can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney.
Our M&G team spans across EMEA, Asia Pacific, and the US and more broadly forms part of our global Clients Markets & Growth function. M&G plays an integral role in executing the firm's strategy and is responsible for driving profitable growth with a specific focus on our chosen industries, markets, and clients.
This role has a particular focus on the Australia Energy Industry. You'll be responsible for supporting industry collaboration, growth, and client engagement. The opportunity reports to our Perth-based Energy Industry Senior Manager and will work closely with the Australia Energy Industry stakeholders to support the Energy strategy across the region.
About You: The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience in a law firm, professional services, or industry business development environment Demonstrated experience in coaching teams and managing major projects and/or initiatives Commercial awareness and an innovative mindset for developing and evolving ways of working Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build trusting relationships with the partnership and business services Enthusiastic and proactive, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects and activities Previous experience in a client-facing capacity including client listening experience Ability to influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation with strong executive presence What Makes Ashurst a Great Place to Work?
