Job Description : My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Adelaide.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on water treatment systems.
This role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components for various water treatment projects.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead the mechanical design and development of water treatment systems and components.
Conduct detailed engineering analysis and calculations to ensure system performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Oversee the preparation of technical specifications, drawings, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
Participate in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.
Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and address any technical issues.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and water treatment technologies.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the water treatment industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in using engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
