Project (Electrical Automation Control) Engineer – Australia – 2 Year Contract

Working week / Month : 40-45 Hours per Week + OT after 45 hours
The Project Installation of a new PLC and SCADA system, alongside upgrading the existing PLC and SCADA system.
Roles & Responsibilities Provide leadership to the project automation teams both internal and external vendors during the design and implementation phase. Provide technical solutions for process-related issues in the variety of complex liquid, aseptic filling, and packaging processes. Engage and work together with system integration vendors for new process development automation projects. Troubleshoot and find solutions for process automation-related issues, including RCA and CAPA. Support and contribute to yield improvement projects with the project team. Coordinate PM optimization (preventive maintenance) to reduce maintenance costs with the help of Lean Six Sigma. Work together with maintenance engineers to solve repeated engineering issues. Manage and maintain HACCP in process-related areas such as X-ray, metal detector, and pasteurization CCP. Drive the use of technology in engineering, maintenance, and reliability engineering. Integrate best practices through focus on external competitors and other industries. Exhibit great communication skills for internal and external interactions and relationship building. Candidate Requirements 5-10 years of experience post-qualification (Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, etc.). Experience in the system architecture, implementation, and commissioning of automation systems relating to hygienic process mechanical equipment. Experience gained in PLC and SCADA platforms, specifically Rockwell, Allen-Bradley, MicroLogix, CompactLogix, ControlLogix, AVEVA, Wonderware, or InTouch. Experience ideally working on hygienic liquid or powder processing within the food, beverage, dairy, or GMP-style industry. Strong track record of managing deliverables.
