Manage and mentor a team of Design Managers, fostering a culture of excellence.
Lead the design process for complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects.
Oversee project delivery, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
Drive value management and optimum solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
Ensure compliance with technical, safety, and regulatory requirements, including Safety in Design standards.
About You
Qualifications: Professional engineering degree (B.Eng) in a relevant discipline.
Experience: Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary design teams.
Expertise in engineering design, value management, and project delivery.
Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects and familiarity with organisations such as BHP, Santos, or similar.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proficiency in technical writing and report preparation.
Skills and Attributes: Demonstrated ability to deliver projects within tight deadlines and budgets.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Postgraduate qualifications in project management or business management (desirable).
