Job / Project Description – tasks to be performed on a daily basis :
The Ansible Developer will be part of AppDev team
Mandatory Requirements : Proficiency in Ansible and Terraform. Experience in testing methodologies and tools. Expertise in observability practices and solutions. Solid understanding of basic infrastructure components, including compute and networking. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies as required. Required Professional and Technical Expertise : Work with stakeholders across domains within ECSS (Infrastructure), SNS (Networks), ISG (Security) and others to develop new or enhance existing patterns to provide shared components necessary for consistent failover activities. For each component which forms the DR implementation (infrastructure and services frameworks and patterns depend on), document potential risks (e.g. target SLAs) that could inhibit a successful DR failover operation. Implement DR workflows within the proposed framework that enable end-to-end failovers and tests for each application within scope. Desired Attributes and Skills : The specialist should be skilled in using automation tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible to automate and streamline processes. Experience with cloud migration projects, including implementation and execution, is also necessary.
