About the Role: Due to expanding business operations, CJ2 Logistics is on the hunt for a well-rounded MC Truck Driver that is currently residing in Karratha WA. This is a residential position only as no accommodation will be provided. This role will commence on a casual basis initially, with the transition to full-time to take place after a successful 6-month probation period.
This role will primarily service our Bulk Dangerous Goods operations; however, there will be a requirement to assist with General Freight Operations during peak periods or when our DG Prime Mover is scheduled for maintenance. Our fleet consists of Kenworth and Western Star Prime Movers.
Minimum Requirements: Current MC Licence with 5+ Years of Road Train Experience DG & DGSC Licence with 3+ Years of Bulk DG Experience Police Clearance within 6 Months WA Fatigue Management Online Training Cert Ability to pass a Commercial Drivers Medical and Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol Test Comfortable to sleep in the truck for overnight trips as required Basic Computer / Smart Phone knowledge for the purpose of navigating online inductions and e-scanning of basic paperwork such as fuel receipts, consignment notes, timesheets, etc. Basic mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot mechanical problems when in remote locations away from the workshop Proactive and motivated driver with a "solutions-focused" attitude Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and load restraint procedures Please note that all of the above criteria is essential.
