Jr Finance Officer

Description:
As our Jr Finance Officer, you will be the main point of contact for our customers and suppliers in relation to account enquiries and reporting directly to the company Accountant.
You will be responsible for receipting all funds received, following up late payments and processing weekly and monthly payments to suppliers whilst ensuring daily KPI's are met.
You will work closely with the Customer Service, Production, and Purchasing teams providing a welcoming environment for our customers and suppliers.
Role Objectives:
Ensure that the accounts department operates efficiently. Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient financial management. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations. Responsibilities:
Reconciling bank accounts on a daily and monthly basis. Debt collection and debtor management. Supplier payments and supplier management. End to end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Filing and scanning. Ad hoc assistance with other accounts tasks. Ensuring Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies are followed and creating a safety-conscious workplace culture. Skills & Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Commerce. Must have two (2) or more years' experience as a Jr Finance Officer (AP and/or AR) in a fast-paced environment working to critical deadlines. Must have demonstrated ability to work with other departments within the business. Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work within a multicultural team environment. Must have competent computer skills including use of MS Office. Intermediate level of Excel skills. Possess logical reasoning and be a critical thinker. High level of attention to detail. Support & encourage a culture of safety and awareness. #J-18808-Ljbffr
