Job Title: Grid Connections Engineer (Solar, BESS)

Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 + Super

Historically solar projects with a recent transition into BESS projects. Impressive project portfolio, working on large-scale projects across Australia. About the Role Manage the Grid Connection activity and AEMO and NSP process. Develop project implementation plans, work closely with consultants on grid connection studies and applications, and support project development. Provide technical support throughout the project from feasibility studies through to commissioning. Lead the GPS and CA meetings, ensuring expertise in Connection Applications and compliance with NSP and AEMO requirements. Collaborate with the wider project team to communicate and understand the requirements, costs, and time frames associated with grid connection. Contribute to the OEM selection process. About You Strong communicator with the ability to maintain and build relationships with external stakeholders including AEMO, NSPs, and OEMs. 5 years' experience in a similar role. Experience in connecting projects to the NEM through AEMO (solar and BESS experience is highly desirable). Power systems modelling experience, ideally with Solar and BESS projects using PSSE, PSCAD, and/or PowerFactory. Solid understanding of the NER regulatory framework. Why Apply?
