Reporting to the Head of People, you'll guide leaders with expert advice, oversee safeguarding panels, and build capacity to identify and mitigate risks.

Reporting to Head of People, The Investigative Authority position acts as the point of contact for allegations into a range of workplace matters pertaining to Child Harm. As part of the wider People and Culture team, the role ensures procedural fairness in following our investigations policy that delivers well-reasoned outcomes.
Responsible for providing advice, guidance, and support by connecting Goodstarters and leaders to the tools and resources required to make informed decisions. You will play a pivotal role in managing and supporting the child safe panel where matters are discussed and determined for outcomes.
Your Impact : Manage the assessment process at an organisational level. Manage the case management aspects of the Safeguarding panel. Present issues, identify solutions, and make recommendations for the Safeguarding panel. Build the knowledge and capacity of staff to prevent, identify, and mitigate risks for any allegations or suspicions using the look, do, tell framework. Ensure case management and specialist support is provided for all major incidents in relation to allegations or suspicions. Provide oversight for allegations and investigations, and risk assessments in relation to reportable conduct. Provide pragmatic, risk-conscious, and uncomplicated advice that keeps our business moving at pace. Use our current case management system to maintain records and keep track of all matters. You'll bring to the table : Valid Working with Children check. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, ECEC or equivalent experience is highly desired. Demonstrated customer service mindset that keeps the customer at the center of what you do. Systems and technology savvy – learn to use our case management system and operate in a teams tech environment. Highly efficient with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment. Understanding and previous experience in managing people processes.
