A Global Cost Consultancy whose clients are end user operators within the resources industry is hiring a client-side Procurement Specialist for a $170m mining infrastructure project in Victoria. This Brisbane-based Global Consultancy has over 10 offices covering 6 countries and has strong beliefs around work-life balance, an accommodating culture, totally flexible working hours, and Working From Home arrangements.
The Procurement Specialist, who could also be a Quantity Surveyor / Contract Administrator, will be working on this 2-year mining infrastructure project with scope including Civils, SMP, E&I, and NPI heading to the delivery stage. This Consultancy typically offers a full range of project control services including pre-contract, procurement, contract management, quantity surveying, risk analysis, scheduling, and planning services to small-mid tier operators in the resources sector.
Typical duties on behalf of the client will include the procurement of goods and services for the above project scopes. You will issue the enquiry documents into the market for tender, be responsible for the commercial component of the contractual documents, financial/commercial evaluation and recommendation, as well as compilation of the tender adjudication, issue contracts, oversee contract and procurement management, invoices, budget shifts, and change requests.
Criteria for the Procurement Specialist / Quantity Surveyor: 5+ years experience as a Procurement Specialist / Quantity Surveyor / Contract Administrator, client-side preferred Civils, SMP, NPI or E&I experience Resources experience advantageous, other civils and build experience also considered The right to work in Australia Brisbane based or enroute within 4 weeks Salary guide: $180k pkg (commensurate with experience).
