McLean Farms is in search for an Information Systems Manager to join our team.McLean Farms Administration Pty Ltd is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in the Darling Downs, specialising in livestock and food production.
The business is involved with a broad range of other agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations.
We are currently seeking an Information Systems Manager to join the team in a full-time capacity based in Pittsworth, QLD.The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive information system framework tailored to the poultry agribusiness and manufacturing industry.Key Responsibilities :Develop and implement an Information Management Framework aligned with business goals.Establish a robust data governance framework to manage structured and unstructured data effectively.Design and maintain a central data repository integrating multiple platforms for seamless reporting.Manage and optimise McLean Farms' central SQL data repository and reporting tools.Collaborate with leadership to define and report on KPIs for data-driven decision-making.Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and reporting enhancements.Facilitate access to critical data for decision-making and plan for future data storage needs.Provide technical support and training to staff to enhance data management capabilities.Oversee and provide guidance to indirect reports, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and fostering a collaborative environment for effective data management.Requirements :Bachelor's degree in data science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Advanced degrees or certifications in data management, data governance, or related disciplines are highly desirable.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Information Management, Reporting, and Data Governance.Proficiency in database management, SQL, Microsoft Power BI, and other information management tools.Strong understanding of data integration, data governance frameworks, and ETL processes.Experience with cloud-based solutions and automation tools such as Nintex.Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.Ability to troubleshoot, resolve, and optimise data and system performance issues.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.Knowledge of industry regulations and standards for data privacy and security.If you are looking for your next challenge, please apply with your resume and cover letter.Please visit our website to find out more about what we do.Only successful candidates will be contacted.Apply Now!
