Position : System Engineer – PV Cleared
Duration : 12 months with 12 months extension option
Location : ACT, Onsite
Clearance : Australian Citizens with TSPV Security Clearance
Infinite Consulting is seeking an experienced System Engineer – PV Cleared for our esteemed large Federal Government Client.
This is a long-term contract - 12 months with a 12 months extension option.
About the Role : In this role, you will be required to work across a variety of disciplines including :
Mechanical designThermal design and modellingICT infrastructureICT securityEmbedded systems developmentDuties and Responsibilities : Implement network design on Cisco and Juniper platformsLinux development, which includes developing and configuring a Linux environment, installing operating systems and maintenanceUsing Python, Puppet, and Ansible to enhance and support automation and continuous deploymentMonitor systems and infrastructureTranslate logical designs into physical designsRole Specific Requirements : Demonstrable experience working with virtualization technologiesDemonstrable experience monitoring and actioning security alerts and incidentsAbility to maintain and upgrade device software, firmware versions, racking, cabling and labeling of current and new infrastructureAbility to deploy hosting platforms in a scalable and sustainable methodAbility to patch and upgrade existing hosting platforms to improve security standardsSubmission Requirements : Submission Deadline : 26 / 09 / 2024
