Our staff are passionate professionals who are committed to helping students achieve their potential, no matter what it takes, where the well-being and positive educational outcomes for every student is at the core of everything that we do.About the Role :As the Head of Department, you will :Lead curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives.Participate in delivering the vision of State Schools Division.Develop the quality of teaching and learning.Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.The Head of Department is accountable to and under the direction of the Principal or delegate.Key Responsibilities :Leading the planning and enactment of the curriculum across all phases of learning within the college, and the leading of improved pedagogical practices for positive learning environments.7-10 Australian Curriculum developed and implemented with fidelity.Strategic evaluation and support of the moderation cycles across faculties.Analysis of student data and development of strategies for improved student outcomes.Development of staff expertise in Essential skills for Classroom management and whole of college consistent practices supported through profiling protocols.Visible leadership, capability develop of staff through coaching processes.Leadership of implementation of college instructional moves supported through instructional rounds, learning walks, lesson observations.Interested?
