We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our Minesite Village Management Team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team that provides essential services to a well-known Mining Company in the Mid-West, WA.
135K + Super + Bonus, with Benefits Program and Corporate Discounts Job security with long term rosters and recent Winner of the 2024 Awards for Excellence, working in an essential industry for a well-known Mining Company located at Golden Grove, Yalgoo Uniforms / PPE and Accommodation An Employee Assistance Program, which incorporates a range of support and counselling services for any issue, personal or work related Key Responsibilities : Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety practices, in line with HACCP guidelines, procedures and documentation Production of high-quality, nutritious, and well-presented meals Continuous menu design and implementation, working with Head Office Catering Team Effectively managing kitchen operations and logistics, including stock control Preparation of budgets, forecasts and managing food costs Provide leadership and coaching to a Team of Chefs, coordinate and support all Catering Staff onsite, whilst maintaining a customer-focused work environment About You : To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Head Chef with demonstrated experience and innovation in mass catering environments. You will possess strong knowledge of Hygiene and Food Safety Standards, with cultural dietary requirements being an advantage. Additionally, a commitment to the safety of yourself and others, strength with managing a Team and a passion to provide quality product, and service with a smile, at all times.
Requirements : Previous experience as a Head Chef in a mass catering environment, Minesite Village experience Certificate III or IV Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification) Food Safety Supervisor certification Australian Working Rights VALID C Class License Ability to pass comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months) #J-18808-Ljbffr
