Your new company Hays has partnered with this tier 1 client to source their next Gold Coast Project Manager. Delivering landmark projects across the Gold Coast in 2025 and beyond, this client will have multiple projects under construction in the new year. Each of these projects alone will change the skyline in some of our most prominent suburbs, but together they will improve the ambience and landscape for the future of the Gold Coast.
Your new role This role will see you working on the largest construction project in South East QLD and provide you with the opportunity to deliver a future award-winning project. With a growing interest in the Gold Coast market, this client has an unmatched pipeline of approved projects with financial assurity. This role will see you working with a phenomenal team of experts to deliver a world-class project. You will manage a huge site delivering schedules rarely seen in Gold Coast construction projects.
This role will require you to utilise your local market knowledge and years of high-rise construction experience to ensure successful outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have strong prior experience as a Project Manager delivering high-rise residential projects. It is preferred but not essential that you have local Gold Coast market experience and existing local subcontractor and supplier relationships. You will possess strong communication skills and enjoy managing large teams to deliver excellent results within a positive and supportive culture. You will thrive under pressure and utilise your exceptional organisation skills to drive strong processes and meet tight timelines.
You will walk the site daily and take an interest in both safety and quality standards around the project. You will liaise with your supervisors regularly and ensure all reporting is up-to-date. To succeed in this role, you will need the drive and commitment to deliver one of the most epic projects on the Gold Coast in the past decade and be motivated by the challenge it presents. You will bring your team on the journey and ensure they are equally committed to the successful delivery and are able to add positivity to the strong culture you will establish.
