We are seeking an Area Manager to join our team. With the acquisition of Culligan Commercial & Industrial in Italy, France, and the UK in September 2024, we have expanded our water treatment portfolio to meet the diverse needs of industries, ensuring superior water quality and efficient solutions combined with Grundfos' world-renowned capabilities in pump technology. This powerful combination will offer even greater benefits to our customers.
What is the job about? In this position, you will play a fundamental role in creating the sales strategy, sales forecast reports, and the sales pipeline. You will have to manage the local network of sales agents, the dealer network, and a customer portfolio in order to develop market shares.
Your main responsibilities: Promote products such as residential, industrial, and swimming pool water treatment solutions, and support commercially the agencies in order to conclude the sale. Manage the network of dealers and corporate partners, supporting them commercially. Implement the action plan for the dedicated area regarding the development of the sales strategy. Contribute to developing the collaboration with agencies, planning client-side actions, for example, visiting the main installers, architectural design studios, end users, and influencers. Follow and analyze the results/targets of agencies and dealers. Optimize the sales budget assigned. We imagine that you have: Technical qualification as chemical/mechanical/thermo-hydraulic. Previous experience of 3 years in direct channel sales. Experience of collaboration with sales agencies and/or dealer networks or assistance centers. Knowledge of the thermo-hydraulic, swimming pool, or industrial sector. Experience in the water treatment industry will be considered a preferential requirement. What's in it for you?
