About the role
We are currently seeking GP Medical Educators in the Toowoomba, Darling Downs and West Moreton regions in Queensland. As a GP Medical Educator you'll:
Provide targeted support and education for GP registrars, guiding them from entry into the program through to fellowship via peer learning sessions, one-on-one support, and practice visits. Collaborate with Training Coordinators, Program Support Officers, and external partners to ensure high-quality outcomes for registrars and practices. Build strong relationships with registrars, supervisors, and practices, tailoring support to local needs for optimal training and progress. Support supervisors with professional development and in-practice teaching, promoting general practice as a career and strengthening rural and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander training pathways. Skills & Experience
RACGP fellowship (or equivalent) and a passion for medical education. Experience in teaching or mentoring registrars, medical students or peers will be highly valued.
