About the Role Reporting to the inspiring Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of financial activities for the business. With three direct reports (two remote Assistant Accountants and one Accounts Receivable), you'll drive operational excellence and financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities Financial Oversight: Manage receivables, payables, payroll, and cash flow reporting. Reporting Excellence: Prepare monthly financial and management reports with variance analysis and insightful commentary. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in developing financial budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making. Systems Development: Enhance and manage financial systems and policies to ensure business needs are met. Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with state and federal tax laws and maintain robust financial controls. Performance Analysis: Prepare, analyse, and report on key performance measures across departments. Stakeholder Relationships: Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, external accountants, and regulatory bodies. What We're Looking For Proven experience in a similar financial management role. Exceptional analytical and numerical abilities. Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork capabilities. Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy. Familiarity with international financial environments is highly desirable.
