G4S provides security for our global energy client at Karratha Gas Plant to ensure a safe and hazard-free environment for their operation. Our team patrols vast areas and is part of an Initial Response Team for emergency responses, provides surveillance, de-escalates abnormal incidents, and liaises with police, performs drug and alcohol tests, and assists all staff, visitors, and contractors onsite.
As a Supervisor, this role will oversee the operations and performance of our teams on shift. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure effective supervision of the onsite security team. This role requires high-level communication skills as it will see you liaising directly with external and internal stakeholders, maintaining adequate and effective coverage throughout the site and accurate completion of all reports. In this role you will:
Be the lead point of contact for all security matters whilst on shift. Conduct security risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Assist with rostering and manage the submission of accurate timesheets. Develop comprehensive security plans outlining strategies, procedures, and resources to mitigate risks. Implement access control measures to restrict unauthorized personnel from entering sensitive areas of the site. Collaborate with local law enforcement and relevant authorities to report and address security incidents promptly. Understand and respect local customs and cultures to maintain positive relationships with local communities. What we're looking for
Minimum Certificate III Security Operations Hold a Western Australian Driver's Licence Hold a Western Australian Security Licence - Static Guard / Crowd Control Hold a Certificate II Security Operations Have received or renewed your First Aid and CPR cert within the year The recruitment process
