Experienced Public Lawyers – Administrative Law / Statutory Interpretation / Information Access
The Roles and Responsibilities We currently have multiple secondment opportunities with various high-profile Commonwealth Departments for experienced administrative lawyers and information access lawyers. The positions involve providing legal advice and support to in-house clients on:
the interpretation and operation of portfolio legislation; administrative decision-making; legislation processes and legislative instruments; information law, including privacy; fraud processes and investigations. Successful candidates will be required to work as secondees within the Commonwealth clients' in-house legal team. As such, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are required.
Essential Requirements a current practising certificate; experience advising on Commonwealth administrative law, statutory interpretation and/or information law matters; minimum baseline security clearance and willingness to complete any additional security checks required by the client. #J-18808-Ljbffr
