This role reports directly to the Authority's CEO and Board and provides an opportunity for a highly motivated executive with exceptional leadership skills, extensive experience in urban renewal, city planning and place making to make a mark on the nation's capital.The Executive General Manager Urbanisation & Renewal role is one of three key senior leadership positions within the City Renewal Authority.
The successful candidate will be directly accountable and responsible for driving a wide range of strategic urban renewal initiatives, capital works and land release programs within an environment that involves complex and often competing stakeholder relationships, to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with the Authority's vision.This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of urban planning, development, land release and capital works programs, the proven capability to deliver outcomes as well as understand and operate within a strong governance framework.Remuneration : The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $321,988 – $334,882, depending on the current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant.
This includes a cash component of $286,536.Contract : The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years.
