About the role The Events and Facility Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the seamless and professional management of SA's corporate hospitality facilities and meeting spaces. This role serves as the primary point of contact for meeting organisers and stakeholders, delivering exceptional service and support to ensure the success of all events and meetings. The coordinator also oversees the maintenance and readiness of these spaces, addressing facility and property-related requests to uphold the organisation's standards of excellence.
What you'll do Oversee the front desk to ensure a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all visitors Coordinate daily mail collection and distribution, working closely with delivery partners to ensure timely handling of all correspondence Ensure all meeting rooms and employee kitchens are consistently clean, tidy, and well-maintained, creating a professional environment for both staff and guests Collaborate with colleagues to maximize the efficient use of on-site meeting rooms Manage relationships with external providers, such as our catering providers, to ensure the timely and flawless delivery of services for all meetings and events Support Events and Facilities Managers with the end-to-end planning and execution of events, ensuring every aspect is coordinated seamlessly from initial concept through to final completion Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and suppliers, to ensure clear communication and alignment on event objectives Ensure event budgets are managed and tracked to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards Supervise all event activities, including setup, coordination and to ensure events run smoothly and meet expectations Respond to maintenance requests and ensure timely issue resolution Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards About you 2+ years' experience in the hospitality or service industry preferable but not essential Experience in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational and time management skills Culture & Benefits Standards Australia is proud to have been awarded the prestigious Employer of Choice Award for two consecutive years, 2023 and 2024.
