Join our rapidly growing Defence fabrication team as a full-time CNC Machinist / Programmer.
This role will see you programming and operating one of the largest bridge and gantry milling machines in Australia, which has just been commissioned as part of our $25M site upgrade for our defence contracts.
The role is based at our modern facility in Wynyard, Tasmania.

We are now using this experience within the Defence industry and are seeking expertise to deliver two major Defence manufacturing contracts.
About the Role
The role is a hands-on operations role and will report to our Manufacturing Lead.
Key tasks will include:
Offline programming and simulation (Siemens NX CAM) Machine setup and operation (Sinumerik One controller) Adjust machine tool paths and settings to optimize production while maintaining quality Reading and interpreting drawings and technical information Additional Benefits

Relevant Trade or Engineering Qualification (Certificate 3 and above) Significant experience in CNC machining and programming An exceptional level of attention to detail Ability to work safely Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions Ability to work to production schedules Willingness to contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives About us
