Reporting to the Manager Enterprise and Employability, this position serves a critical role within the Graduate Futures team.
You will contribute to the alignment of the University's academic and strategic goals by facilitating flagship programs for students such as Global Leadership Program (GLP), Professional and Community Engagement (PACE), MQ Microcredentials, and MQ Student Employment (MQSE).
In this role, you will aim to ensure initiatives consistently put educational outcomes and employability of students at the forefront of programs.
Your work with internal and external partners will help to enhance overall engagement in employability activities.
This includes various academic staff members across faculties, such as Deputy Deans Education and Employability, Associate Deans, Course Directors, and Unit Convenors.
The role also entails rigorous coordination of compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to the Fair Work Act 2009, and navigating regulations set forth by TEQSA HESF, ESOS, and CRICOS standards.
Your role will ensure the Graduate Futures team meets key policy and compliance obligations whilst also identifying areas for process improvement and enhanced efficiencies.

Proven ability to streamline processes and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, particularly in a higher education context and evolving policy environment.
Experience in facilitating interdisciplinary projects and initiatives centred on Enterprise and Employability, ensuring alignment with academic vision and administrative constraints.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Proven ability to liaise with and provide support to academic staff, such as Deputy Deans Education and Employability, Associate Deans, Course Directors, and Unit Convenors.
Demonstrated capability in supporting the development, implementation, and review of policies and procedures.
Proven ability to stay abreast of current trends, research, and best practices within the field, and apply findings to program development and optimisation efforts.
