Job Description As a WorkFocus Australia Employment Services Consultant, you will help people to get well and working again by assisting them to find suitable new employment. Using your skills in engaging with people and employers, you will impact lives by equipping clients with marketable skills for new employment, helping them become competitive candidates, assisting in placing injured workers into suitable work hardening placements, and by opening doors with them with employers in the best new job for them.
As a valued team member, your responsibilities will be to: Help source suitable placements for the implementation of return to work programs and work hardening programs. Help clients develop the skills needed to be a competent and competitive job seeker in the current employment market. Actively market the skills and aptitudes of individual job seekers to suitable employers. Support and walk beside your clients to engage them in an effective job seeking journey. Develop and harness a network of employers to secure on-the-job training and employment opportunities for your clients. Understand current employment incentive schemes and how to use them to get your clients the best new job for them. Coach and motivate your clients to become the best new employee possible and to secure their next job. Qualifications What you'll bring to the role: Positivity, empathy, and persistence to do an important job well. Experience within employment services, recruitment, marketing, or B2B sales. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to multi-task and effective time management. Knowledge and understanding of Workers' Compensation and injury management (desirable). Current driver's license and motor vehicle and the ability to travel.
