About the role As the E-commerce Operations Manager at Glass House AU, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our leading online home improvement business. You'll be working remotely, responsible for overseeing all aspects of our e-commerce operations to ensure a seamless customer experience and operational efficiency.
What you'll be doing Manage the end-to-end e-commerce order fulfilment process, including inventory management, order processing, shipping, and returns. Oversee VA, who handles above mentioned tasks, and provide customer support by phone, email, and chat. Optimise our e-commerce platform and website to enhance user experience, improve conversion rates, and drive revenue growth. Analyse sales data and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product, to align e-commerce initiatives with broader business goals. Continuously monitor and optimise key performance metrics, such as average order value, customer acquisition cost, and customer lifetime value. Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and scalability. Provide regular reporting and insights to the leadership team on the performance of the e-commerce business. What we're looking for Minimum 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce operations or a related field (Shopify). A trade background will be highly regarded due to the nature of the business, although not a necessity. Strong communication skills and a commitment to offering an exceptional customer experience. Proven track record of managing successful e-commerce platforms and driving revenue growth. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights. Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Proficiency in the Shopify e-commerce platform, inventory management systems, and digital marketing tools. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively and independently.
