About us Digital Marketing Adelaide is a one-stop-shop digital marketing & advertising agency. Whether it's Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google Ads, SEO, or web development, Digital Marketing Adelaide has the experience and a proven track record, which is why many of our original clients from when we first started 8 years ago are still with us. And now we're looking for an Agency Director to help continue our growth trajectory.
About the role The Agency Director role is a unique and exciting opportunity to lead customer satisfaction through hands-on account management and leadership to transform Agency strategy to operational excellence for Digital Marketing Adelaide.
Our new Agency Director will need to be someone with an entrepreneurial mindset; someone who is bold, confident, and able to establish authority & credibility when meeting with clients, as you'll manage high-end accounts and be expected to:
create and execute effective digital marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., social media, email, search engine marketing) provide regular performance reports to clients, highlighting key metrics and campaign achievements manage client budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI and achieve campaign objectives assist with the sales process; lead generation, meetings, proposal writing, follow-up, and closing This is an awesome opportunity for an experienced Account Executive to step into a leadership role as they will be tasked with nurturing an established team including:
oversee the agency's daily operational functions, ensuring high team efficiency, providing strategic direction, coaching, and support coordinate across departments to streamline communications and operational processes, ensuring interdepartmental alignment take responsibility for first-level people management, including delegating tasks to team members and ensuring adequate staffing for project fulfillment and coordinate leave requests monitor team performance and ensure high levels of productivity and engagement, addressing workflow challenges, and contribute to regular performance reviews assist in managing project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial parameters We work with a cross-section of stakeholders from business owners, marketing departments, and CEOs to government officials & social media influencers. Ideally, we'd like someone who has the experience & knowledge to work effectively with these partners. You will also invest time in building relationships with a view to winning new business and developing strategic alliances.
About you Our ideal candidate will have a passion for business and digital marketing and a thirst for knowledge in the ever-changing world of online marketing. Our Agency Director will be tenacious, a juggler able to balance concurrent priorities, experienced at consultative selling, and have a thirst for collaborating internally and externally. They will provide exceptional customer service, consistently going over and above.

We greatly value teamwork and collaboration, so this role is based in our offices on Melbourne St, North Adelaide, and you'll always be on the lookout for ways to increase efficiency across the Agency.
Have strong digital marketing skills and knowledge, with a track record of developing digital strategies to help our clients grow Have a proven track record in account management Can demonstrate effective people management skills and an encouraging leadership style Have sound business acumen and financial literacy Have excellent project management skills, proven ability to handle multiple client accounts simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines Are happy to attend networking events Really understand Google Ads, Meta Ads, social media management, TikTok, SEO, web development, etc. Have no issues presenting to large groups Bring a 'can do' attitude to the table, along with amazing communication and are you happy to roll your sleeves up and occasionally do some old-fashioned prospecting Hold a Tertiary degree in Business and/or Brand/Marketing Communications and has worked in a similar role (ideally with a digital marketing agency or in-house digital marketing) Can adapt to and learn new technologies Have an opinion Thrive on delivering results Self-motivated and can work autonomously Then we would love to chat with you.
