AWCON is an Australian leading Civil Construction business in the mining and heavy industries sector.
With stable growth and long-term existing contracts, we are seeking suitably qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Diesel Plant Mechanic to join our team located at Prominent Hill SA.

Reporting to the Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for, and possess the following abilities to assist in maintaining AWCON's and associated clients Vehicles and Plant items:
Be a team player with a positive attitude to work and safety.
Highly motivated and ability to take direction and work unsupervised.
Able to work in the field as required.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Assist in new equipment fit outs.
Experience with mixed late model trucks and equipment, with an average age of 5 years old.
To be successful you will possess the following:
Experience in mining industries is desirable.
Current Driver Licence - Heavy Vehicle Licence up to HC is desirable.
Construction White Card – or ability to obtain.
