An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and agile Accountant to join the Dexus Fund Finance team as Senior Accountant.
In this role, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of all financial, management and investor reporting obligations.
You will make an impact by:
Delivering fund accounting activities including monthly financial reporting, tax reporting, fund distributions, owner reporting, and regulatory and compliance activities.
Implementing fund accounting strategies with Fund and Portfolio Managers to oversee maintenance of fund financials and delivery of fund-level information and analysis.
Assisting the Financial Controller and Finance Manager with oversight of the internal and external auditor relationships.
Ensuring all regulatory obligations are satisfied in a timely manner.
About You
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in an accounting role with experience in preparing statutory reports in accordance with AASB and IFRS.
Through your career, you will have developed expertise in property and/or funds management with experience in financial reporting, tax/distributions and related fund finance functions.
To thrive in this role, you will bring strong attention to detail, a problem-solving mindset, ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst managing your time effectively and having a collaborative working style.
