Dean, Churchill Institute of Higher Education
We are a quality private higher education provider committed to delivering exceptional educational experiences and industry-ready graduates. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced (or aspiring) Dean to lead our team located at our campus in Paramatta, Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and strategic direction for the institution in collaboration with Governing Council and Academic Board Governance Bodies. Oversee academic programs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and compliance, and deliver an outstanding student experience. Manage financial resources effectively, demonstrating financial literacy to ensure a sustainable higher education provider. Lead and mentor faculty and staff, fostering a collaborative environment and delivering student outcomes. Implement administrative policies and procedures to ensure compliance with TEQSA and Australian Quality Framework standards, Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000, and in line with Churchill Institute's Governance Framework. Work with the marketing and recruitment team to promote the Institute to students and stakeholders to attract high-quality students from diverse backgrounds. Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in educational leadership and/or program management within a TEQSA accredited private or public higher education provider in Australia. Financial literacy and the ability to manage budgets and financial plans. Excellent administrative skills with a track record of effective operational processes. Knowledge of TEQSA and AQF standards and regulations or a keen willingness to gain this knowledge as a developmental priority. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of educators and administrators. Higher degree (PhD/Professional Doctorate) or substantial educational leadership experience.
