About the role: We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team based in North Ryde. Reporting to the GM of Finance, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial outcomes of the business align with CSR's objectives. This is an excellent opportunity to provide insightful financial analysis, contribute to strategic decision-making, and drive continuous improvement in reporting and business planning processes.
Some responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare and analyse financial, management, and corporate reports, delivering value-added insights for senior leadership, including the CSR CEO and CFO. Manage monthly accounts in accordance with accounting standards, including journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L reviews. Maintain the integrity of accounting ledgers and ensure high-quality reconciliations. Lead the preparation of head office budgets and forecasts. Coordinate half-year and year-end processes, including audit preparation and inquiries. Consolidate monthly results, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring accurate reporting in various systems. Drive process optimization and standardization across business planning and reporting. Manage financial controls across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring compliance and data accuracy in SAP / BW systems. Provide commercial support and performance analysis to the national team. What you bring to the role: A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Commerce. CA / CPA qualification with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in management or financial accounting. Expertise in consolidation accounting, financial analysis, and reporting. Strong proficiency in SAP, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with Power BI (preferred). Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. A growth mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. Well-developed planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
