Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.
This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.
Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project area.
The role :
Elecnor is seeking Heavy Rigid Crane Truck Drivers to join the project in regional NSW.
The role will involve a mixture of driving heavy rigid crane trucks with hi-abs, dogging / offsiding, and manual labour work.
This is a full-time FIFO position to Wagga Wagga or Griffith.
This role will require you to live away from home on a 21 / 7 roster, working 6.30am to 5pm each day.
Flights, accommodation, and meals are provided.
Must have requirements to be shortlisted :
MC drivers license (can accept HR or HC for some positions) C6 Crane License at minimum Dogman ticket Rigging ticket (advantage) Construction White Card 5+ years proven experience in a similar role, operating crane trucks with hi-abs Full Australian work rights Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing Benefits :
