The Firm & The Role Our client is a leading national law firm known for their exceptional legal services and pragmatic & commercial approach. Clients rely on them for their responsive, commercial approach. This firm acts for government departments and agencies, private and publicly listed companies, and small and large businesses in Australia and overseas. Industry sectors include rail, water, renewables, and telecommunications.
This construction and infrastructure team is recognized for its commerciality, depth of knowledge, and technical excellence. A position within the team offers the opportunity to learn from the best.
Due to growth, the transactional side of our client's construction team is looking for an experienced lawyer to assist in the structuring (and associated drafting) of major projects and deals. You will also provide advice on procurement options, financing, tender strategy, contract documentation, and negotiation through to contract administration.
You will work closely with the partners, have high levels of client responsibility, and work in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
About You In addition to having at least 4 years of experience in construction law, you will demonstrate the following qualities:
