Good opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals & step into Project Management. Projects include D&C Aged Care, Industrial, Education, Commercial, and Health. Our client is a highly regarded expanding team of over 20 Construction Management professionals who have been in the NSW Commercial Construction Market for over three decades. They specialize in (but are not limited to) projects in the value range of $3m to $50m – mostly in the Sydney metro area with occasional projects in regional NSW. Projects include D&C Aged Care, Industrial warehousing, Big Box retail, Education, and Commercial – mostly new builds and some refurbishments and fit-outs. They work in a collaborative manner with all parties from early design stage to project handover and beyond.
Due to increased workload, mostly from repeat customers, a newly created position has become available for a Contracts Administrator / Quantity Surveyor. Located in modern offices in Sydney's North Shore and reporting directly to the NSW Construction Manager, the ideal candidate will have:
Unrestricted work rights in Australia – Sorry, no overseas candidates. At least 24 months experience in Australia with a Commercial / Industrial Builder in a similar capacity. Up-to-date computer skills with Jobpac, Cheops, Buildtools, Timberline, Procore, Hammertech, or similar. Ability to identify risk and opportunity in every situation. Experience in head and subcontract / supplier management from procurement to final account. Outstanding communication skills as you will be dealing with people at all levels, both internal staff and external stakeholders. Ability to manage your own projects as a Project Manager within 24 months of joining. Ability to get along with people.
