About the team
This role sits within the Commonwealth Private Wealth Team, leading the Private Wealth Distribution Team and working collaboratively with the Investment Research Team, Advice Team, Platform Operations Team, and the Private Banking Team.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager Private Wealth, the Executive Manager Private Wealth Distribution is responsible for coaching, motivating, and leading a team of Investment Directors and Investment Associates to deliver excellent customer service and holistic solutions to CBA's high net worth customers.
You will drive the successful delivery of a seamless whole-of-wealth value proposition, inclusive of wealth management and investments across the full spectrum of asset classes and drive customer satisfaction through deepening relationships and developing relevant solutions.
Additionally, you will:
Develop long-term, in-depth client relationships with clients and execute business development strategy for high net worth existing and new-to-bank customers. Promote the Private Wealth business offering within the Private Bank network and other CBA segments to ensure opportunities are identified and customer needs are met effectively, maximizing all available resources. Work closely with other segments of CBA (e.g., Private Bank, Business Banking, CommSec, Global Markets) to deliver a seamless customer experience and referrals where appropriate. Ensure compliance with the relevant Group standards and regulatory requirements. Deliver an effective, efficient, and compliant distribution framework that underpins the Private Wealth Value Proposition and manages and reports on the success and efficacy of this delivery process. About you
To be successful, you will have:
Leadership experience in banking, wealth management, and financial markets preferably in the high net worth segment (e.g., Private Banking or Wholesale Ultra High Net Worth Asset Management or High Net Worth Wealth Management). RG 146 training in Securities, Bonds, and Managed Investments. Relationship management experience in managing high net worth client portfolios. Experience in Wealth Management solutions and regulation relating to the wholesale and sophisticated investor segment. Proven strong leadership, motivational, analytical, planning communications, organizational, problem-solving, managerial, and customer service skills. A high level of EQ coupled with the ability to set clear stretching goals for others and inspire them to achieve. Experience in coaching, mentoring, developing others, and motivation skills. Understanding of the regulatory framework governing our investment offering in the high net worth segment. Advertising End Date: 15 / 12 / 2024
