Within this role, you will provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership and decision-making relevant to the specialty of Emergency Nursing, Patient Flow, and Hospital Avoidance. The MSH PACH Clinical Nurse Consultant (MSH PACH CNC) provides indirect care as required and works in collaboration with the wider health care service to deliver safe, timely, and high-quality health care.
You will play a vital role in the MSH PACH, which operates as a command-and-control centre to enhance operational performance and assist with patient flow, using real-time intelligence across the network of five hospitals and two satellite hospitals. PACH is designed to help alleviate the pressure on the region's ambulance services, emergency departments, and hospitals. MSH PACH is staffed with Metro South Health clinicians and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) personnel who work together to support patient flow, manage the increasing demand for beds, and help patients access the right care at the right time.
